He works hard for his money

The Mayor’s money….. Seems like a lot of developer money in there. Wasn’t this the same man that criticized his opponent for accepting developer money? There must be a logical explanation for this. I just cannot believe our mayor would deliberately mislead (Being VERY KIND) the tax payers. C’mon mayor explain all that developer money to the citizens of our great town. Remember you are a public servant and the public deserves an answer.

Chris - thanks for posting that. I find it very interesting, of course. Some major developer money contributed, I see, as well as some major out of state money. And did you note that it is Markum's "Coventure Consulting" that got paid rather than his political consulting firm, "The Markum Group"? The latter actually lists the Mayor as a client on his website, but the check goes to his other entity. Hmmmm...wonder why that is?

The Shults team has tried to define itself as pro-homeowner and continually pressed the issue of campaign finance Monday night. Nelson pointed out contributions Sanborn received from developers and Shults did the same to Hallisey.

So what did you find out in your audit Mr. Barber and what are your recommendations on fixing things?

No doubt our mayor was in Charlotte North Carolina doing some "fact-finding". Or maybe exploring whether we should establish a "sister city" relationship with Charlotte. I'm still a bit curious about the
$4,000.00 donated by somebody in Colorado.
